Isolation Transformers
General Specifications:
Transformers are electromagnetic devices which transform alternating current electrical energy from primary to secondary side. The energy from primary side is transformed with equal frequency and approximately (because of transformer losses) equal power by means of the transformer core magnetic field. There is no contact or wiring between primary and secondary side. Therefore they provide galvanic isolation between primary and secondary side. The harmonics and circulation currents (in general) which may occur at secondary side can not pass the primary side.
Advantages of Isolation Transformers:
Protection of electronic devices against the electrical shock,
Protection of the persons against the electrical shock,
Protection the network (primary side) against the harmonics (in general)
Additional Technical Informations :
Rated Power : From 25 kVA upto 1000 kVA,
Rated Voltage : from 24 V upto 36.000 V,
Turn Ratio : Generally 1. Can be manufactured as per customer requests.
